Basic Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MS degree in Computer Science and 0-2 years of industry experience developing distributed software systems and Web services (SOA) Solid experience in C++ or Java (expert in at least one) Solid experience in Perl, Ruby, or Python (expert in at least one) Solid proficiency in Linux or UNIX and experience developing in UNIX/LINUX environment. Solid proficiency in Object Oriented Concepts & Design, Data Structures & Algorithms, and design patterns Obsessed about customer experience Knowledge in SQL, XML and web technologies such as AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 etc. Must be excellent problem solvers. Preferred Qualifications: Distributed System technologies - Service Oriented Architecture, Data formats like JSON, Caching etc. Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Strong sense of ownership, drive and ability to deliver results Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
